The Princess Margaret Hospital
It's been 3 or 4 months and they still haven't gotten back to me.*UPDATE* they got back to me over 1 year later saying the person I had quit and they never checked her files... really made me feel great when my headspace was as bad as it was back then

MHAPS Mental Health Advocacy and Peer Support Trust
I have found that since working with my advocate/support worker at MHAPS, I have learned a lot about myself and I'm more confident when facing situations where I'm naturally in a vulnerable state. They have helped guide me in the right direction when I've been lost at where to go next. They understand I'm not crazy and how mental health effects me and everyone around me.With their help I have learned with some of the things that have happened in my life, that sometimes people treat you unjust and you don't always get the result of justice. Sometimes you have to walk away knowing in yourself that YOU did everything you could and your time/energy/emotion is better spent elsewhere. (Like the old saying goes 'pick your battles'). I have been battling with my depression since early last year over a certain case tjat my advicate/support worker has bern helping me with. For me there have been a few times where it has come down to a choice between a never ending losing battle with people in a hierarchy position or deciding to put my mental and emotional well-being first to ensure I can give my children the full quality of myself. This current case was one of those times.I would like to thank the team at MHAPS for their support, but in particular Sonya, from the bottom of my heart for her support all this time. Working with you has been easy and calming. I never feel scrutinized for anything bad that's going on in my life. You make your visits feel like a friend who cares rather than a scary official person (I refer to most scary official people as 'boots in suits') but you don't make me feel uncomfortable at all, in fact I actually look forward to seeing what fashion you're rocking at work that day lol. You give me hope when in despair and options when I'm at a road block.TO ANYONE WHO IS AFRAID TO TAKE THAT FIRST STEP.......Don't be afraid to open up and let them see the true you. They don't judge, they understand and WILL help you wherever/however possible. I just walked in off the street one day when I was passing, it was a bad time in my life and I just felt like I needed to tell someone.....I was crapping myself thinking omg they're gonna think I'm crazy" and within a few moments I was in a quiet room crying my eyes out telling them my life story

Getting back into a gym was a daunting prospect for me after an injury. With Sam's caring guidance and the small class format I have really enjoyed the process. For me personally it has been the best thing I've done for myself mentally and physically in a long time.Highly recommend!

NatuneHeal | Holistic Wellness & BioEnergy Community Hub | Dr David Weller
David is a comprehensive therapist. My experience is that he works from the observation of the patient, he has guided me in a very subtle way. It has been very beneficial for me. I recommend it if you are in that moment of life, when you make the commitment to grow.
